The history of Case tractors began in 1842. A man called Jerome Increase Case started a company in Wisconsin, exactly in the city of Rochester. However, Jerome moved very soon nearby to Racine, where started to build threshers. Since that moment on, the name Case started to be well know and trusted across Wisconsin.
It was nearly to 9 years later, in 1853, when J. I. Case formed JI Case & Company. 3 partners were accepted and the benefits started to increase dramatically. They approved Old Abe as the new Eagle Trademark in 1865, which was used in the civil war as a pet, known then bald eagle.
